Sportslink is a UK charity which has been set-up to raise money to provide a unique experience in the world of sport for children and their families attending two hospice houses Helen and Douglas House. The profit made from our auction will go towards taking the children and their families out to sporting events around the country.
We are therefore working in conjunction with Helen and Douglas House which provides respite and end of life care for the children and young adults with life-shortening conditions, as well as support and friendship for the whole family.
The two hospice houses are bright, vibrant and positive places, where the emphasis is on living life to the full, even when that life may be short, and this is where Sportslink plays a part in providing dedicated hospitality in the world of sport for these children and their families.
How do we raise money?
We intend to raise money by holding a on-line auctions of sporting memorabilia via this web site. The first auction is now closed. We plan to hold our second auction from 2nd March 2009. All our auction items are genuine and certified - as you can see we work with a number of companies within the world of sport.
How can you help?
To enable us to raise money we require genuine signed sporting memorabilia or anything that allows us to raise money from our auction.
